COURSE DESCRIPTION
This Patois language course is designed to introduce students to the Jamaican mother tongue, commonly known as Patwah. Through a combination of interactive lessons, audio recordings, and practice exercises, students will learn the basics of Patois pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. The course will cover topics such as greetings, introductions, daily routines, and common expressions used in Jamaican culture, including basic vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. By the end of the course, students will be able to hold basic conversations in Patois, understand common phrases and slang, and have an appreciation for the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of Jamaica.
